HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Every event is different and there are a lot of variables to get to such a simple answer.
Price is based on answers to the following questions:
How many guests will you be serving?
What drinks will you be serving?
What hours will the bar be open for service?
What location is the event? Public venue or private property?
Distance from Sawyer, Michigan?
Additional amenities to include?

DO YOU SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL?
We are a “dry hire” bar, as liquor laws do not allow mobile units to buy or sell alcohol. To be in accordance with Michigan state laws, all alcohol must be provided by the host or through a third party (ex. your event caterer or venue). We will work closely with you (and/or the third party) to be sure everything is covered for the event.
If you will be purchasing the alcohol directly, we will take care of all the prep work leading up to your purchase, and provide you with a customized shopping list based on your party’s needs. You will purchase the alcohol from a separate vendor (liquor store, big box store, wherever is best for you) and we will help coordinate the arrival of the product to the venue.
WHAT TYPE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES CAN YOU SERVE?
Beer and wine are the standard service; however, we can customize your bar menu to make it really unique. Imagine serving signature cocktails, mulled wine, or spiked coffee/hot chocolate. Everything is based on your taste preference, vision for your bar space, budget and location laws.
DO YOU SERVICE PARTIES WITHOUT THE ALCOHOL?
Absolutely! We are happy to provide our mobile bar for any type of event and provide a non-alcoholic beverage menu ranging from teas and coffee to hot chocolate and soda. We can even bring the unit out to your location for a photo shoot.
WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS ARE YOU ABLE TO SERVE?
We are able to serve at private parties including weddings, birthdays, showers, corporate events, fundraisers, on private property or a venue. For public events or fundraisers, we'll need some information to determine if permits are necessary based on location and nature of event.
DO YOU HAVE SIGNATURE COCKTAILS AVAILABLE?
Yes! For packages that include Signature Cocktails, we can help you choose the perfect drink based on your taste preference or make your favorite recipe.
DO YOU HAVE A RAIN DATE POLICY?
We cannot accommodate last-minute rain dates for your event due to our advance bookings; however, we are happy to work with your tent vendor or venue to find the appropriate size to cover our service area.
CAN WE DECORATE THE TRAILER TO MATCH OUR DECOR?
Absolutely! Opal loves to get dressed up! Any decorations that will not damage the trailer will be fine (no lit candles, nails, screws or glue). Please coordinate with us ahead of time for approval.
WHERE DO YOU TRAVEL?
We currently serve Southwest Michigan in a 60-mile radius from Sawyer, Michigan. We are always happy to discuss an event in a different area.
DO I NEED A PERMIT?
That depends on the event, and the venue. We can talk about this in more detail and guide you through the process. Essentially, if a permit is required, you are responsible to obtain it.
WHAT IS REQUIRED ON LOCATION FOR THE BAR?
Our mobile unit requires flat ground for setup and service, and clear access upon set-up and break down to enter and leave the location. We need to have enough room to park, and there must be plenty of room for both our full-size tow vehicle and trailer to pull through and/or turn around. We do not leave the trailer hooked up to the tow vehicle.
It is preferred that sufficient electricity is provided with a standard 110 plug and 20 amp breaker, but a quiet generator can be added to your package if needed.
